After lots of posts speaking about using two images so Facebook treats your Page update as a text update to reach more people, Facebook has announced that text updates from Pages dont get as much engagement from people, so theres been ANOTHER change. Facebook has tweaked the algorithm again so that articles/links/photos/videos may now get a wider distribution than they did previously, and text only updates may get a lower reach. (You may have noticed Trending Topics appearing on the right hand coloumn in your Newsfeed on PC and Laptop, and indication this has already started.) Additionally the ads manager has changed again, broad interests and categories have been combined. After a quick flick through and test this morning, it looks much easier to navigate for anyone that is a novice at FB Ads. Its that time of year when Facebook makes lots of changes - Id expect to see some more VERY soon! All these changes may seem baffling, you may be asking yourself what now?, I give up! or Whats the point? So long as you use your Facebook page with an end goal in mind, engage and dont fret about any changes. Facebook is a tool, one of many, that you should be using to drive business and traffic your way.
