After many X-rays and scans, it looks like Mike only has a broken femur. I say that lightheartedly, but it will be a long road to recovery. But I thank God that he spared his life. Things could have been a lot worse!! Surgery to put in a rod is scheduled for 6 AM tomorrow. They put a huge screw through his leg, and have him in traction to relieve some of the pain. Please pray for him that all will go well tomorrow, and he heals quickly. For those of you that know and love him, you also know he is hard to keep down! Pray for me that I have the strength and endurance to get through this. His biggest worry right now is walking his daughter down the aisle in 6 weeks. He said to me tonight, and I quote, Sorry I screwed up our lives. And I said, and I quote myself, It would have been screwed up if you would not be here now.
