After many years of talking about it, making plans, plans dashed, setbacks and goal setting....I am happy to say that I will be going back to college this January at the University of Louisville to finally pursue my bachelors degree. Ive been so nervous the past few years that maybe I couldnt do it, couldnt afford it, was too old, would be too old when I finished my degree, etc. I started this ball rolling in late May but have waited until now to say it out loud because I was too nervous it wouldnt work out somehow. Today all of the pieces fell into place and I am happy to say that I am a college freshman again at age 33. Its never too late to start something new, never too late to learn and never too late to accomplish a long held goal and feel proud of yourself. I guess its only a matter of time before you hear me yelling out the CARDS chant.
