After more than a year of running hiatus I finished 21KM today. I am so happy because a month ago when I started running again it was a struggle to complete 2 loops. It’s not easy getting back in shape (and lose the 15lbs I gained) so I went back where I started the “ treadmill” . Now I am trying to add mileage each week to prepare for the Milo marathon. I officially started my training last week, so far below is my progress: May 25: UP Acad Oval – 18KM: 1hr and 47mins June 1: FF Treadmill – 21KM: 1hr and 57mins Usually I follow a 16 week training plan but because of time constraint I hope the new plan will help me to a sub -4 finish: June 8: UP Acad Oval - 24KM June 15: FF Treadmill - 28KM June 22 : UP Acad Oval - 32KM June 29 : FF Treadmill – 36KM July 6 : FF Treadmill – 42KM July 13: UP Acad Oval – 36KM July 20: FF Treadmill – 24KM July 27: Manila Milo Elims Please join me in this another journey.
