After more than two weeks in the house with only cat sitters, - TopicsExpress

After more than two weeks in the house with only cat sitters, Miles finally recognized the sound of the car and our voices as we entered the house. He was first down to greet us. Katie, our wonderful cat sitter, said she never saw him and only once saw Willow. Miles followed us everywhere while we unpacked the car and the suitcases. This normally quiet brown tabby squeaked and meowed and purred constantly. Willow was still hiding. We called her, but she and her cat collar were silent. About an hour later, she strolled past us to the food bowl, sniffed and sauntered away. I left the house at 7:15 the next morning for school. When I returned around 2:30, Willow was waiting for me. I had papers to grade and email to read but accomplished nothing because this little black cat with the three bells (one from each collar she’s worn) had to sit in my lap. All day. All night. I have to leave for school in a few hours. I wonder what will happen when I return.
