After moving to Banbury in 2005 we did other things.... Amanda started working for Regis in the Banbury shopping centre and I started working for a company called Modern Money out near Blenheim. After squatting at Steve and Keshas for a fortnight we rented a place in Westbeech Court just up from Banbury Cross. 2006 saw us take a jaunt to Exmoor camping. We also caught a wonderful theatrical display at the Minac Theatre at in Porthcurno, Penzance, Cornwall. Whilst camping we got tipsy and ran out of firewood... I staggered to the hostel and returned with a sack full, on my way back Id tumbled in to a rather large hole amidst the darkness! Later in the summer we headed to the south of France with Steve & Kesh, meeting with Mary and Nick (who were preparing to move there) and our Robyn and her boyfriend at the time Alex. We kayaked down a large section of the Dordogne. Amanda was very kind in that she paddled with the flow whilst I tried to have a little fish here and there..... as we came to the end of our adventure, my fishing rod was sticking out the front of the kayak as we paddled towards the shore. I screamed Stop paddling, paddle backwards... Well thats what I heard in my head. I think it came out as lasjhoghljlkjlkjshitlsjflsajfarrrghhhh.... The rod snapped clean in half... It was a quiet ride back in the minibus. Great memories of some wonderful little adventures during 2006 with Amanda. Hope you like the pics.
