After much consideration, after reading many postings regarding the matter, this is what I have decided to do with Alexs vests: Since *I* know where the fabric came from, and each square will put a smile on my face & remind me of my friend, I will be using some to make a quilt. I will be donating one to Chandlers fund to frame and have hung somewhere in town, preferably the Diner, if theyll have it. The rest will be sold (at a price to be determined later, but the $10 suggested amount sounds reasonable), and all proceeds will be donated to my team in the Relay for Life event. This way, as someone said, there wont be ONE person with pieces of Alex, but MANY will have an opportunity to share his memory! After Ive had a chance to photograph & inventory them, I will be posting pictures & announcing the sale (providing that is within group guide lines). Thank you!
