After much debate I have decided that I will renew my auctioneers license this year. Just for the plain and simple fact of spite. I worked hard for it and could do big things with it if I wanted. Unfortunately there is another auctioneer in the area with the same last name that does not believe in ethics, screws every person they can over with business decisions, partnerships and so forth. Their employees change every other month. Every unmoral decision one could make on the auction stand they make. All of these are my personal opinions from first sight knowledge and the reason I have not done alot with the auction business lately. I diversified into another field that has alot to do with the real estate aspect of auctions. Once the generation that has been screwed over is out of the picture and we have a new generation of auction goers I may put a little more effort into this auction business. We are in no way affiliated with this other company (slowly but surely everyone is realizing) that shares the same last name as I do. I also appreciate the phone calls that I receive almost weekly concerning the ethics and laws this company does not abide by, and also take great pleasure in informing each and everyone I have no parts of any dealings, contracts, sales, etc with said auction company. Any auctioneer would be welcome at any of my events and I certainly would not start a screaming / shoving match with them starting in the auction gallery all the way to the parking lot in the middle of an auction in front of my clients. Lastly and once again, these are my beliefs, opinions and first hand knowledge. Everything I and my employees do are by the books, abide by local and state laws and will continue to operate that way. Thus, the reason AuctionTime was established by myself and Jennifer Coffey.
