After much preparation, we are finally starting to see the formation of a strategy for developing a Congolese genealogy archive. Well start with extractions from books from the 1880-1920 era to fix the locations of the tribes and the earliest Christian missions. Next well look for all available early sources. Then well start to reach out to them to form a cooperative group. Finally, well interview elderly Congolese to fill in the gaps.
