After much research and trying to make a decision, I have decided to abandon the quest to get great results from the 208 amax in my 308. I have had good results, with one group coming in at just over half an inch. the rest have been between .75-1.5. I have come to the conclusion that trying to push that bullet fast enough in my 308, makes me a little uncomfortable. I may give it one last go, but its looking like I will need to build another 30cal rifle for the 208s. Thats how you do it right? Build rifles to fit your reloads? ;)
