After much thought and deliberation I have come to a decision pertaining to my future in the ABGA. I have some serious issues with our current board. I have been discouraged and disappointed. I was discouraged recently to the point of considering quitting. Then I took a step back and thought about what my life has revolved around for the past 20 years, all the time and heart and sacrifice my family has dedicated to this association and what I love doing most in this world. I am not a quitter. I am also my fathers daughter and I was not raised to sit idley by when I see things in the state theyre in. I have been to several meetings and I will be at the next. I will also be running for my Dads director seat next year. I will not give up on something I have so much invested in. I will not give up because we are in dire straits. I will put on my big girl britches and try harder. Ive gotten 20 years of knowledge and joy out of the ABGA and I will give back to it. I want change and Im willing to put forth the effort to do it. I hope this feeling spreads across our membership. Dont quit, Fight!
