After much thought the previous 24 hours, I would like to address - TopicsExpress

After much thought the previous 24 hours, I would like to address the open to the public post I put up on my wall yesterday concerning my situation in this election. I have no problem admitting when Im wrong. Id like to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to Mrs. Sandy Davis and Mr. Andrew Curry for anything in that statement that had an undertone of insinuation that what has happened to me was a malicious, intentional act. I am quite certain it was not, and I apologize to both of you if my anger reflected that sentiment. I am angry. Im still angry. I have every right to be angry. But that does not excuse me from using language that leads one to believe that this is some sort of conspiracy. I apologize for that, sincerely. I KNOW that is not what this is. This is a mistake. Its my belief that because Mrs. Sonya Eisenhower, and the school board in general, believed that it was her year to run, Mrs. Davis took them at their word. That was a mistake. I cannot apologize for referring to Mrs. Davis, Mr. Curry, and the superintendents office in general as incompetent. They are. Thats backed up by the laws of Arkansas, their lack of knowing the law, and the memo that was forwarded to me. I have every right to be angry about that incompetence. It effects me, directly, in eliminating my right as a citizen of this community to take part in this election, whether you think my motives are just or otherwise. I want accountability, plain and simple, and I, you, and everyone that lives here deserves that. Over the past year, all Ive heard is that anyone that complained about how things were going at Jessieville School were just people who were mad that teachers and staff were now being held accountable. Now, those same people have made a TREMENDOUS BLUNDER, most specifically in not knowing the law and not knowing their responsibilities in this election process. Now, somehow its wrong of me to expect someone to be held accountable. They should be, because the lack of responsibility in that office is costing me my chance to participate. Mrs. Davis, Mr. Curry, I apologize, whole-heartedly, for letting my anger dictate my words in regards to both of your intentions. It was wrong of me to insinuate the potential of malicious, willful wrongdoing. I am sorry indeed.
