After my father passes away ;-( and my mom is through the worst of her grief and moving on with her new life (so maybe in 2016?), Im thinking about doing a year teaching, writing and producing abroad with Filmmakers Without Borders. Maybe Im just fantasizing about escaping ;-) (thats completely possible) ;-) but I lived and taught in Kobe, Japan for a year (when I was 19-20) and it was a wonderful transitional experience (after college, before real life) and I know Im heading into a huge life threshold here, so I thought this would give me something new and exciting to look forward to, too. Has anyone ever lived in or traveled to (these are my options): Bangladesh Bhutan Cambodia Honduras India Kenya Nepal Sierra Leone Tanzania Tanzania is the lead contender ;-) as my GreenPeacing cousin Hannah Hale Leifheit lives there now (shes just reupping for year #3) ;-) and especially since Ive always wanted to climb Mt, Kilimanjaro (after Mt. Fuji). ;-) But India and Cambodia - all of them are of interest. Any ideas, thoughts, recommendations? Does anyone know anyone whos ever done this program?
