After my friends wedding a few nights ago near Reading, I HAD to go to an area I hadnt been to in almost 20 years...the crossings in Sinking Spring. When I was a kid and the family would drive down Fritztown Road, I would always be on the edge of my seat hoping that when we got to the crossing, those gates would be coming down! LOL This was on Woodrow Avenue. The crossing for Columbia Ave (Fritztown Road) is so close that if you listen, you can hear the last of its gate bells in between the engines horn blowing.
