After nearly two thousand years of exile, the LORD God promised (after having declared how He would be “sanctified” … in Israel … among the gentiles/heathen), then went on to solemnly declare how He would do so … as per the following promise: “For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land” (Ezekiel 36:23-32). While verses 23 and 24 (referring to His people’s PHYSICAL return) have clearly been fulfilled, the prophecy (respecting NATIONAL SALVATION) in verses 25 through 32 have only been partially fulfilled – within the hearts of His people – as illustrated in the hearts of His Messianic Jewish people. Then the entire chapter of Ezekiel 37 goes into further detail respecting the beginnings of the SPIRITUAL return of God’s people who are already in their “own land”! Then follows the entire two chapters of Ezekiel 38 and 39 – which deals with the events – now shaping up in the Mideast – about how Iran will be part of an Islamic (and communist) jihad – that will be allied together – in attacking the tiny Jewish nation of Israel (with the intention of wiping out every single last Jew therein). And finally, it also reveals exactly what the outcome of that incredible war of annihilation will be! Want to know the future? Then take time out; and read it for yourself!
