After one month of New Student Conferences, the Corps of Cadets already has 470 new cadets signed up for this school year. We still have several more New Student Conferences scheduled this Summer, and are expecting a fish class of well over 800 this year. The Aggie Band already has 100 fish signed up for this year, and will have well over 400 cadets in its ranks. Its been a very good recruiting year for the Corps this year, and if our projections are correct, we will have the largest Corps since 1970 this Fall. Very excited about the coming school year, and looking forward to having the largest Corps in over 40 years! I will provide an update on total numbers in the Corps for this school year once Fish Orientation Week begins in August.
