After our fine concert performance of the Coronation Mass last month it made an interesting change to hear it in the liturgical context on Sunday. Ive said before that All Saints Margaret Street has the finest choir of any parish church in the country. Not least because the associate director ofmusic is our very own Charles Andrews. But what makes their music even more stunning is that for most of the mass settings and anthems in the repertoire there is just one rehearsal – an hour before Mass. Breathtaking – despite providing temptation to break the Tenth Commandment!
