After regrettably working with Projects Abroad for 3 months, I decided to look further into Volunteerism. This morning I came across this video, in which the reporter visits a few orphanages in Cambodia - where PA seems to be exploiting the poor in order to acquire wealth. Its half an hour long, but your should definitely have a look if you have the time. For anyone thinking of volunteering abroad, I definitely DO NOT recommend Projects Abroad. Make sure that you work with an NGO that protects children rather than adding to their poverty. - N
