After several recent conversations let me add the following: I live in a town that everyone complains about but very few do anything to change. I live in a town where people protest to close businesses and stop development rather than organize to open new business and help development. I live in a town that maintains a thriving poverty industry. I live in a town thats afraid to grow and change, and proud of it. I live in a town that thinks its still a union town but is actually a government company town. I live in a town full of talented, hardworking people who have to work 3 jobs to make ends meet and are either content with or oblivious to the lack of opportunity. I live in a town controlled by the few who benefit by the status quo and dont want change which would benefit the many if it means chucking the status quo. There I said it. Someone has to and Ive never really been one to care much if anyone thinks Im wrong as long as I believe its the truth. Dont get me wrong, I love this community. Just dont expect me to sugarcoat reality or prattle on with a load of happy talk.
