After several weeks of mulling this decision over, I have decided to close the Danielsville location of Fancy Honey. Although there are some personal reasons, the truth is, I am not having fun with shopkeeping anymore. It takes me away from the creative process and what I love doing, it keeps me from traveling and my fiancé and friends, and our play time! Lastly, it is just much more lucrative being in Monroe and Jefferson letting someone else worry about advertising, and staffing my business while I reap the rewards! So, we are beginning to draw down our inventory at Fancy Honey Vintage Market in Danielsville and shift it to our planned 10, YES TEN, booths in our new locations. The Danielsville location will close May 31st. You will find us exclusively in Monroe at Hodge Podge Art and Antiques and in Jefferson at the Red Hound Antique Market. We urge those few customers with remaining balances on gift certificates to come use them while we still have substantial merchandise to choose from! Slowly, we will continue to shift all of our merchandise to the other locations in the next month. Shopkeeping has taught me so very much and I have met some fabulous people during this process. I want to thank my staff of two, Leigh Ann Singletary and Cindy Bone. They have been incredible friends, support and worker bees! Leigh Ann will continue to be part of the new venture in even a bigger way - she is so incredibly creative and talented. Just wait till you see her stuff! This decision frees up my time and increases my revenue so it has been an easy decision. I am so excited about the expansion and move! I hope you will continue to follow me and shop with me with seven day a week shopping at the Lovely Red Hound Antique Market and six day a week shopping at Hodge Podge…I promise to do my best to continue to delight you, my customers!
