After spending two years of my life traveling across the country just like these girls for a simple sport...news like this could not have hit me any harder. No words can describe the amount of pain and destruction going on in the lives of the teammates, coaches, drivers, school, and community. No words could also describe the thoughts of why, how, what if, and all the anger that comes because of this. Not only this, but all of the other hurt that happens every single day that I do not ever hear about or realize. How easy it is to get caught up in this darkness and see no ray of light. But oh, how there is Light. How grateful I am to know a God who brings comfort, hope, and peace in times of all of this brokenness. One who brings so much healing and love that is relevant to everyone on this earth. There is a God who cares, who weeps with you, and brings beauty out of hurt and pain. Jesus is with you wherever you go, let Him be the rock you lean and rely on for all of the bull that happens everyday. When the day ends and thoughts of whats the point in this life? comes to your brain, Jesus Christ is the only one in this entire world that matters. Give Him a chance.
