After ten of the most impressive years in the history of comedy, The Colbert Report ended tonight. I watched the first episode back in January 2005, and his amazing character has been educating and entertaining me since the 2000 presidential election. I am extremely stoked that he has ascended to one of the top positions in the world in comedy, and though I am sure he will be an amazing host, i will miss this great genius fool of a character, one of the most impressive character machinations in human history. Though the biggest laugh I can recall has to be the epic Filliam H. Muffman gag, this is probably the most impressive feat the character ever pulled off. Kudos Stephen Colbert, thanks for raising the bar for late night comedy.
