After the Kickstarter ended this morning I spend the day mulling over how best to express the deep appreciation all of us at 44FLOOD have for the stunning amount of support we have received from all of you for TOME, EXPLICITUS and our other endeavors. To be honest, it is a bit overwhelming. To watch people from all over the world come together to support art... It is really something. To listen to the conversations that spring up while discussing the theme of TOME 2, melancholia. To discover artists and pieces that have really become a part of my life. To be involved in something that we believe in and to feel other people believing in it too... It is a wonderful feeling. We all go about our days as humans on this planet and there are so many things that we have to do or feel like we have to do, there are not many occasions where we get to do something that we dream of. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the opportunity to do something that we dreamed of. I will continue to keep you updated with new artists inclusions and process shots over the coming months but for tonight...over and out. -Catherine p.s.
