After the Talk of the Nation national tv debate on 19 Aug, NCT eventually got a quotation from ministry of agriculture to use their lab. They charge about N$1200 per sample. It would be good to see if "Top Score, White Star and Ace" might have altered their GMO content. However NCT only has a budget of about 2000 thus can only test the 2 former Namibian products. Would have been good to test all 3 again. There has also been a complained about government drought relief maize so that too needs to be tested. Thus about 2400 is still outstanding to test 4 samples. If there are individuals who could contribute and who are not business people kindly inbox. The results would benefit the system as it would apply presure for food safety and biosafety legislation.,
