After the Westgate Shopping Mall tragedy we quickly need to audit the entire attack focus on Homeland security. National Youth Service should be made compulsory to every form four leaver. Training of security guards must be thorough and coordinated by the goverment and guards given guns. Immigration policies must be reviewed and Kenyans given National ID Cards with information from registration of births all births must be registered. National Security Intelligence Service must be overhauled and their mandate be redefined. Recruitment of police officers should focus on those with post secondary education people who are trainable. Use a professional recruitment agency to recruit police officers and defense forces not the same officers who perpetuate corruption during the process. Where on earth do you consider height, teeth, scars on the body and the size of the body as creteria for recruitment and expect to succeed. We are tired cant keep on moving on and on due to automatic failures in our systems.
