After the breathtaking, action packed, no sleep week of vacation I had in NY, I went straight back into work yesterday and the Wall Of Exhaustion hit whilst on duty around 11 yesterday morning....So MUCH FUN last week, so many faces and memories! My THANKS go out first and foremost to my wife of nearly 29 years, my best friend, my love the woman of my dreams and reality, Lori Prell for making all things in my life possible. Thomas Barry, for offering transportation when all seemed lost at the time. Tamaralee Shutt for picking me up at the airport and starting the week off on the right foot by going to Shiftys and seeing Austin Jimmy Murphy...and for letting me crash on her couch...The it was off to the inlaws...how I was lucky enough to have them allow me into the family, Ill never truly understand...but I am blessed! Tassones with them for lunch. There was a quick itinerary plan change that night and Linda Davie, thank you for informing me that your husband, Paul Davie was performing at The Flat Iron Grill that night....also thanks to Mandy Detor Rowe, Jeremy Detor and Joshua Detor and his boys for dinner there. Fridays adventure took me to the south shore of Lake Ontario to Rudys with long time friend Tom Herbert where I had the opportunity to meet his lovely wife and relive MANY old times and memories...and a Texas Hot as well! Friday night found me at the infamous Dinosaur BBQ joined by Jacquie Goettel Strecansky and her husband John...they were first times there....Along the way my old friend Scott Sterling, who was recovering from surgery...wish I couldve stopped by with soup or something for you...texted to wish well, and Maura Kennedy stopped in as well. The it was off to The White Water in Liverpool meeting up with Linda Davie, Paul Davie, Diane Brooks and Terri Ball....more old friends with new memories. Saturday found me at The Waterfront with Tina Baird and a mystery family that stared at me until I said hello. I didnt mean to scare you...Honestly, I just wanted you to introduce yourselves as I did. SORRY! Saturday Night The Bright Lights Show...WOW! We were all 20 something again! Thanks to my niece, Samantha Spadafore for indulging me and sharing in my memories...I wanted to share my musical past with her. So many faces, so many names, so many that I never got the chance to speak with...but for those I did, thank you for your kindness and retaining the good memories...Linda Davie, Mike Michael Lowery, Bill Carr, David Takacs, Cathy LaManna, Gary Frenay, Jennifer Real Shultis, Karen Oberlin, Mark S. Sunday, a gathering of family, my two sisters, their kids and grands surrounding through the day. Cindy Allers, Sue Burns and all the kids thanks for giving up your Sunday to spend with me. Monday was fishing on Oneida lake with Thomas Barry...again my apologies for cutting the trip short. Glad you got the limit! A quick recovery sleep and a dip in the pool brought me back to life. Then it was off to lunch with Linda Davie at The Market Diner...she informs me that her hubby will be playing with my sister in law and The Fabulous Strays this weekend. Dinner with old college friends Alex Tischenko and Steven Roberts at The Copper Top. Tuesday...napping and relaxation day with my farewell meal at Avicollis. While awaiting my flight south, I got a message from Pam Engelbrekt Squadrito, that she was on her way north from West Palm Beach...neither of us mentioned a lay over in Atlanta....but as I search for my next gate....there she is, prepairing to board the plane I just left. Again, Thank You ALL, for if you were not who you are, I could not be the me that I am...I bid you peace.
