After the chairmans report, a member rose to have the agenda of the day amended to allow the agm discuss the conduct of our NEC. this amendment easily sailed through and the mood in the house was set. Thanks to the mover and seconder Oscar Kambona Chege and Bonface Anyula . Having gained access into the order of the day, a member moved a motion to have the vc suspended and evidence to the allegations was made a vailable to the members. the petioner Dr Walela had two prayers 1, to have the said member REMOVED from the leadership of the club. 2. to have the said member suspended from the club the two prayers were guided by the provisions of our club katiba 5. Any office bearer may be suspended or removed from office or expelled from the club in the same manner as laid down for the suspension or expulsion of members in Rule 3(7) and vacancies thereby created shall be filled by members of the National Executive Committee subject to the confirmation of any expulsion by the General Meeting of the club. 7. Any member may be expelled or suspended from the club on grounds that his conduct has adversely affected the reputation or dignity of the club or that he has contravened the provision of this constitution. 8. Any expulsion or suspension of a member shall be done on the recommendation of the National Executive Committee or by resolution of the general meeting of the club. Such suspension or expulsion shall be by a two-third majority of the National Executive Committee or of the general meeting of the club PROVIDED where a member is suspended or expelled by the resolution of the National Executive Committee, he shall have a right of appeal to the general meeting whose decision shall be final PROVIDED FURTHER that a member to be suspended or expelled shall have a right to address the committee or the general meeting at which his suspension or expulsion is to be considered. The ceo of the EMG further invoked sections of the code of conduct that was signed to show that the said member was actually astray. the petitioner also produced evidence of a letter authored by the impeachee authorising kpl to pay sony but at that juncture the entire Nec had already presented the vc to the hang man. the sg and the chairman said and i quote, kila mtu abebe mzigo wake at this point the agm was baying for the blood of the vc. if you thought the agm was done with nec, umetupa mbao. Amotion was also moved by a member from Executive branch Derick Transformist to have two other nec members suspended from nec. Limisi and Caro Mayunzu. the mood was ripe for that discussion but the mover had no tangible evidence so i seconded the motion and requested to be told how the two spent the 200k that Nairobi county speaker had given to the club. the second impeachee Caro said that the money was spent to pay for the hotel where the boys were camping and the bal given to Timothy Lilumbi. Sema Lilumbi kuruka futi kumi. we later found out that 50k could not be accounted for. the second impeachee made the work of the motion mover even much easier coz he just said and i quote, khubaka no khulia which losely translate to mtu hula mahali anafanya kazi. at that junture the agm agreed with an overwhelming majority to have the three step down/suspended/impeached. that is how it was....gaszeriritwas
