After the death of veteran dramatist Manohar & retirement of CHO I - TopicsExpress

After the death of veteran dramatist Manohar & retirement of CHO I thought Tamil Theater was dead & gone. I was completely wrong. Hanuman by Dummies & Shradha Theaters was amazing experience. From a prototype of a shuttle launch demonstrated Live using drone technology and an actual blast off of a rocket left me gasping for breath. Essentially what made the drama interesting was several sub-themes including one on aethism; foreign sabotage of our space missions, our irrational political atmosphere set in the larger canvas of our space program which runs on meagre budgets. It is often said Tamil theater was the father of Tamil cinema till tamil cinema took over. Today we can proudly say Tamil theater has regained its rightful place. Tamil cinema has lots to catch up with tamil theater. Incidentally Srivatsan who has scripted this play is a CA. One reason one can be proud to be a CA!
