After the disappointment of having returned home from Tarifa without completing the Straits of Gibraltar I took a few days off to reflect. This morning I teamed up with Finbarr Hedderman and enjoyed 1hr 20 min around the magnificent SandyCove...... Focus is back on training, I have learnt a lot and hopefully over the next few weeks or months I will return to Tariifa and hope for better weather.... Everything happens for a reason and next time I will be fitter and mentally stronger..... most importantly just enjoy swimming....... To everyone who contributed the charities, a big thanks..... cheques are on hold for a few weeks. ( as you know, all of my own costs are covered independently )
