After the feedback I received yesterday from my Status update, via, facebook, text, and SEVERAL phone calls, Ive come to realize that I neither can, nor SHOULD censor my views. The jist is that to remain silent is to concede defeat, and that for a few folks anyway I have actually caused them to rethink their positions on political, social, and or religious issues that affect us all. My post yesterday was a knee-jerk reaction to disinformation that was given to me alluding that a couple of our guests had not been back for a subsequent visit due to my views on the issues at hand, there was no truth in that information. I do realize that my voicing of my views at times can be somewhat harsh and abrasive, and I will try to be more sensitive in my delivery and dissertation. I want to make one thing perfectly clear; Although I am an Atheist, I have many friends who are resolute in their individual religious beliefs, my distaste is not with religious affiliation per-se, but with the blatant corruption, hypocrisy, and outright HATRED put forth by many Religious Organizations & Leaders. I cannot remain silent in the face of that. I post NOTHING on the business facebook page that is politically charged with the exception of Marriage Equality news and and advances in Civil Liberty causes. And that will continue to be the case. But my PERSONAL Page is my PERSONAL domain and I will post what I please.
