After the initial diagnosis of my chronic condition in 2004, I was told I would never work again, given a 10 week pain management course and told to take painkillers. Since then, 10 years, I have had no further input from the professionals apart from seeing my GP every 6 months. Although I have of course been harassed, stressed and persecuted by the DWP and Atos, forced to attend 4 medicals, the results of which EACH time was a supposed lifetime positive yes you are to ill to work and you need not claim again!! Why did the government waste so much money in testing me when all they had to do was read my consultants diagnosis and my GP reports??? They should spend more on support of people like me and less on trying to prove I am cheating the system!!
