After the mistaken killing of two Cops by Police Patrol team in Winneba,one of their big men said they need to improve their training to to prevent such events. I agree but think the training shd not only based on physicals but much shd be based on use of critical thinking skills. I witnessed something on the N1 highway dis morning and wonder if dat shd be the best way our security men shd work. A police packed his bike far away from the outer lane and randomly arrested drivers who picked passengers. Surprisingly dis is the place where the same security men pick car to work. I wonder where the cars are designated to pack since after Abrentie bus stop the next genuine stop is at Akoteiman (recently made) which is about a 30mins walk from the previous. My worry now is shd the police hide and arrest when the wrong is already done or stand to prevent the wrong from happening. My next question is, wat the use of the outer lane to commercial drivers. Also shd the police in trying to decongest cause another congestion at where he or she is stopping the cars on such a busy road. Also shd a police man beat a person who he claimed was wrong while he is not in uniform, if yes is he safe because any person around can fight him too since his identity is not known to anybody around. In the developed countries police are made visible to where they believe a crime will take place so to prevent it or fix CCTV so to monitor the ppl around in their absence, but here the police hide and watch the possible crime scene from far to arrest the offenders. No wonder ppl say some even hide beside, under and even on trees to arrest harmless ppl. We know u guys are doing a great work but we plead to u ppl to prevent the crime if possible rather than wait for the harm to be done. Remember a lost soul can not be revived.
