After the top three players for the Uefa Best Player in Europe Award were shortlisted (see 1636), Uefa have revealed the players who finished fourth to 10th. (International side and club side in brackets) Fourth - Robert Lewandowski (Poland, Borussia Dortmund), fifth - Arjen Robben (Netherlands, Bayern Munich), sixth - Thomas Muller (Germany, Bayern Munich), seventh - Gareth Bale (Wales, Tottenham Hotspur), eighth - Bastian Schweinsteiger (Germany, Bayern Munich), ninth - Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden, Paris St-Germain), 10th - Robin van Persie (Netherlands, Manchester United). An award ceremony will be held on 29 August to see who out of Lionel Messi, Franck Ribery and Cristiano Ronaldo will be announced as the winner.
