After the unseasonably hot weather the past few days today will bring still warm but more tolerable weather. Highs for areas East of the Divide will peak in a range from the upper 80s into the mid 90s under clear and sunny conditions. Afternoon hours could see isolated thunderstorm development but remaining sparse and far and few between. TONIGHT: Cool and comfortable temperatures this evening to light your campfire as temperatures fall into the 50s for most of the state. Dry and primarily clear conditions will continue to be seen into the evening to enjoy. SATURDAY: Slightly cooler again with highs slipping further into the 80s and holding onto the low 90s for some Central and Eastern regions. Again skies should remain sunny and conditions primarily dry for you to enjoy. LOOKING AHEAD: Next week will come along with highs leveling out at their seasonal average in the mid to upper 80s under more sunshine. Towards the beginning of August next Friday thunderstorm potential will rev back up for many regions as highs continue their stroll in the warm 80s. John Shrable K2TV
