After well over six months without a Director or anyone educated - TopicsExpress

After well over six months without a Director or anyone educated in Shelter Medicine at the helm of the APF, this short message was sent out to the few volunteers remaining. Surprising since they never informed the media, volunteers or staff when the Board of Directors fired Michael. Perhaps now would be a perfect time for reporters and other media sources to request a press conference or interviews to ask if the inept people responsible for falsifying the reports to the Health Department after an animal care worker was bitten (and lied to), as well as the wrong animals being killed -- sorry, euthanized -- will be fired. =================== To All Volunteers: We are pleased to announce that Deb Balliet has been named as Executive Director of the Animal Protective Foundation. She is a long time resident of the region and has held prior professional positions at Union College and Northeast Health. Deb has served nonprofits at all program, fundraising, executive and leadership levels. She is the proud owner of Allie, a Boxer rescued from a puppy mill neglect case in Kentucky, and boards a 19 year old Quarter horse-thoroughbred cross, Taz. Deb begins her new role as Executive Director on October 27, 2014. Dr. Theresa Tommell will be joining our team as Director of Shelter Veterinary Services on Oct. 27. 2014. She will be responsible for all health related aspects of care for our shelter animals. She comes to us from Just Cats Veterinary Clinic and was previously employed for 4 years at Rotterdam Veterinary Hospital. Welcome to our team! ==================== Yes, welcome to the team, now get rid of the drug users, abusers, and people just hanging around for a paycheck. Please. And if you would like to see the video recordings and documentation regarding those people, please ask us and we will direct you to the right sources.
