After worrying about the procedure and what leads up to it for four years I finally went today and had my Colonoscopy. Sorry David Gibbs I wouldnt put that much trauma on you!! My Dr Mallory Lawrence was my surgeon and he is wonderful and a cutie! All of the horror stories about having to drink that awful stuff....so not true. I mixed it up put it in the freezer and with each glass I put one Crystal Light Lemonade like they suggested and it was no problem tasted like a lemonade slushy. Granted the bathroom part was not pleasant but everything else went fine. By the time I was halfway down the hallway I dont remember a thing until they were waking me up and encouraging me to pass gas!!! Which was no problem !! Went to S&S afterwards and went home and slept. Oh and the main news Everything was Fine!!! I wasnt having any problems but I am fifty four I had been putting it off. I was in Augusta Surgical for two hours and thats it for ten years!!!! So if any of you are putting this off for any reason please dont there is nothing to it!! Thanks Cheryl Garrison Neely for reminding us!!! It may save your life!!! And Andy is doing a lot better today!! Keep those prayers coming. They are working!!!
