After writing my last post, that message has stayed with me so much even though its what the Holy Spirit has been revealing to me for sometime. Dont we have situations that feel like need Gods immediate attention and He still hasnt come through! The frustration of waiting comes when you wait for the miracle more than the Giver of the miracle! I believe that its when I take my mind off of the miracle and fix my faith on The God of the miracle that my prayers are answered! Before Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego were thrown in the fire, their answer to the king is what executed the miracle! Even if He doesnt save us from this fire, WE WILL NOT BOW TO YOUR IDOL!!! these guys were not worried about the fire because their relationship with God was solid dead or alive!!! Same with Abraham, he takes his son up the mountain and leaves everybody else because the possibility of his servants stopping him from obeying God was high! Isaac asked his dad where the lamb to sacrificed was and yes... again Abrahams answer executed the miracle...GOD WILL PROVIDE ... His relationship with God was so tight that as painful as it was to put that miracle boy on that altar, he didnt doubt one bit that God would provide! I could go on and on but what this tells me is that I have to be tight with God despite and inspite of! my position is to know in my knower, beyond every reason of a doubt, that God is able!!! He indeed is not a man that He should lie... with that truth deeply rooted in me, I have to then take my limits off!! I have to stop expecting God to answer in a particular way, at a specific time and using specific people!!!! HE IS SOVEREIGN!!! If He comes after Im thrown in the fire, Hes God like that, If comes suddenly like the day of pentecost He is God! If He just sends a word without using any special persons... HE IS STILL GOD AND HE CALLS THE SHOTS.... my challenge really is... HOW much do I know God???? Ohhh that I may know Him like Abraham did when his faith was tested ! Or like the 3 Hebrew boys, or like Daniel of old... the secret lies in the intimate relationship that exceeds any relationship mankind has ever had!!! The kind that lives on beyond the grave because it concerns the Author of EVERYTHING!!!
