Aftermath photo of the great Alaskan earthquake. I think this is just one of the many towns that had this happen. This place was just hit with the resulting tsunami. But my main point: Is it amoral to take joy and pleasure in viewing these scenes of ruin? I just think they are very aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. Its the disorder and complete upending of any former order in mere moments. That appeals to me a great deal. And look at the blue, ethereal quality this photograph has. Its very evocative and dreamlike.
