Afternoon Everyone, Ive had a couple of questions about pricing recently, so I thought Id clarify :) All items are one of a kind and handmade by me, so far I havent produced two identical items or used the same design twice across two products. The main things I need to account for when giving a price for an item are materials costs (all of which I try to source as cheaply as possible without compromising on quality) and my time. I do work quickly, but obviously some projects are going to take far longer than a couple of hours and the price I quote will need to reflect that. I will often provide a discounted quote for projects outside what I’ve done before, things that I have on my “would-like-to-do” list (usually things that I need to fill a gap in my portfolio) and commissions for multiple items. I can’t start work on an item, or sourcing materials for an item unless a deposit has been paid – the amount needed will be confirmed to you, but will more than likely either be the cost of part of my time, or the full materials cost depending on the project. Full payment will be required before the finished product can be sent out to you. I hope that all makes sense!
