Afternoon all. Just joined this group, I have lived, owned businesses and worked in Brooklyn for 18 years. I know there are problems here, but what community doesnt have? I would like to promote good things, how to make changes, how to sort out the problems we have and not just moan and groan. I have no intention of treading on anyones toes, we can only do things by working together. Right now, I am working with the Brooklyn Womens Forum with their Shoe Box Project. They work ONLY in Brooklyn, they do not go outside of the boarders because they believe that we should look after our own. Please help us to acheive our target of boxes, each one is valued at less that R100, and will make a huge difference to a child at Christmas.
