Afternoon one and all, Oliver here, My Swanage Railway trip on Saturday didnt go according to plan, I arrived at Corfe Castle just past 10am, and got one or two nice photos of the T9 30120, it was also nice to see two bulleid coaches behind an M7 tank as well, which I believe was the first time in 20 years! After that it all went slightly down hill, unfortunately the T9 failed just after lunch. However a huge thanks and well done to all that was involved at Swanage for using what motive power they had available and trying to get back to time. The M7 then ran the normal set of the day with there Class 33 stepping in on the Branch line train, I finished off the day around Afflington Bridge/Corfe Castle with some beautiful photos of the M7, Once again a Huge Thanks and Well done to the Swanage Railway for being polite with answering my questions over the phone and for getting the T9 back running again on Sunday. The Photos from Saturday 15th March will be uploaded here over the next few days. Cant wait to go back to Swanage on the 5th/6th April. Oliver Ridge. [email protected]
