Aftet a gap, a hyped movie in its1st Day 1st Show.. Anjaan is completely a Surya show with his continued attempt to cement his place among the mass audience.. A revenge drama always require audience empathy towards the relation between the deceased and obviously the hero. Lingusamy almost managed that aspect which will work for the movie, otherwise a no-story one. Surya was super cool in both the avatars. Vidyut Jamwal, too good in the supporting act. Almost gave a tough time for Surya in the combination. Seems Samantha was waiting for a chance to reveal herself. Even though the story was too predictable, there were some interesting turns of events which made it watch able. If some effort was put in the second half, it wouldve gone above that. Yuvan compensated for the songs with a heavy BG score. Santhosh Sivans frames and Silvas action scenes added to films positives. Anthony couldve trimmed to make it more appealing.. Verdict: Good watch for Surya fans and those who enjoy run of the mill Tamil masala films.. Anganathe cinemakale paandi padam ennu vilikkunnuvar dayavu cheythu aa vazhi pokaathirikkuka.
