Again, the police have wasted massive resources and tax money on nabbing a few minor drug dealers instead of going after real criminals like murderers, rapists, thieves, and the like. And to benefit whom? Not a single decent citizen, and certainly not Thai society. This bust, like all of them, only serves to keep the prices high for this product in high demand from apparently millions of decent Thai citizens, the vast majority of whom never cause any harm to anyone else. Of course, two groups are benefited by these expensive shows: corrupt officials and mafia scum. But should it be official policy to support these two anti-social groups?
