Again, welcome to WVXtreme!! West Virginia – wild and wonderful. When we think of the mountain state we think of coal first. However, in all fairness, the diverse outdoor life conjures a perfect setting for an extreme sports playground. With turbulent whitewater, vast forests and rocky terrain, West Virginia is home to some of the best landscape for these sports. Not only do the woods offer great experiences, but the towns and cities of WV provide an urban backdrop for freestyle bmx, skate, and more. Which brings us to WVXtreme. Our mission is for a modern, edgy platform that provides information for the beautiful playground we call home. Of course, there are ski specific sites like Snowshoe, and whitewater like ‘Adventures on the Gorge’, but we bring it all together with WVX. Here we want to have fun. Here we want to evoke excitement. Most important, we want to bring America closer to our doorstep. WVX welcomes outsiders to engage in our site, and hopefully give tourism its rightful place in the changing WV industry.
