Agapé Hospice of the Midlands held its signature event today at the South Carolina State House in Columbia in honor of National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. Agapé Hospice staff transformed the grounds of the State House into a colorful memorial garden with over 500 floral umbrellas for the Life Blooms Eternally display, each umbrella representing a life that was touched by hospice services. Donations can be made by purchasing an umbrella in honor or memory of a loved one. Proceeds benefit the Agapé Senior Foundation which assists hospice patients across South Carolina.
