Aged 91 Harry Smith told David Cameron today Keep your mitts off my NHS. As he can recall nearly 100 years its indelibly imprinted on his memory hearing a woman screaming in pain as she could not afford morphine to help her die from Cancer. His first time of voting was in 1945. It was his chance to be part Of the tide that raised all ships, and he was so proud of the establishment on the NHS. In 1980, born the same year as Harry, my mother died in my arms after five year battle with Cancer. She lived longer and died in no pain because of the NHS. There are so many tales like mine or Harrys to tell, we all know them and thats why we fight, campaign, want to preserve and advance OUR NHS. We cannot fail. youtube/watch?v=TL7V0srlU2E
