Agents use of the radars was largely unknown until December, when a federal appeals court in Denver said officers had used one before they entered a house to arrest a man wanted for violating his parole. The judges expressed alarm that agents had used the new technology without a search warrant, warning that the governments warrantless use of such a powerful tool to search inside homes poses grave Fourth Amendment questions. License plate scanners to track where you drive around town and now these new radar devices to track where you are in your home. Add to all this the fact that U.S. Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that citizens have no protection against Fourth Amendment violations by police officers ignorant of the law. Do you understand why Im afraid of the police? Its because theres so much grey area for them to abuse and I believe they will abuse it if they can get away with it and the way things are right now, to me, they WILL get away with it. Thats why.
