Aggies, we have 3 more games with Johnny Football as our QB. I wish he would stay for at least another year, but the writing is on the wall. As Phil Robertson would say, he gone. In my nearly 45 years of being a football fan, Johnny Football is one of the most intriguing players that I have ever seen. He has a unique skill set that is unmatched. He will go down as one of college footballs all time greats. There have been times I would like to give him a swift kick in the rear for some of his antics, but quite honestly, how many of us would have or could have handled the present day media and social media any better than Johnny. Johnny Football is a rebel, gunslinger, and warrior all in one. As an Aggie, he has been a pleasure to watch. A&M has two tough games ahead, but rest assured, their QB will bring his A game. So to my fellow Aggies, I say enjoy the final chapter of Johnny Football as our QB. Be assured, it will be anything but status quo.
