Agriculture producers from across New Mexico are gathering in Albuquerque through tomorrow for the 2013 New Mexico Cattle Growers Association and New Mexico CowBelles Mid-Year Meetings, the New Mexico Wool Growers, Inc. Summer Meeting, the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau (NMFLB) Summer Conference, and the New Mexico State University Short Course. Today, will start with the opening general session, followed by a series of speakers on agricultural policy. The day will wind down with an awards banquet and dance. Tomorrow, natural resources issues will be the focus, followed by a joint luncheon. Farm and Livestock Bureau President Mike White of Dexter says people are looking forward to seeing farmers and ranchers from across the state. He says it should be a great meeting.
