Agro is free of Income Tax and a farmer has to sell his produce in cash, particularly vegetables, fruits, herbs and seasonal products. Come elections, these farmers are strip searched and asked for SOURCE of money.... The scale and size of economy has been biggest in last decade and a collection of Rs. 2 or 3 lacs is normal. When election commission can raise limit for expenses by candidates to Rs. 70 lacs, why they dont increase limit of Rs. 50000 to be carried by farmers. Police people are having hey day as they are simply coercing these poor guys.
